Dr. Gijo Raj, Scientist C, in the Division of Polymeric Medical Devices, Department of Medical Devices Engineering, Biomedical Technology Wing, SCTIMST has been awarded Best Oral Presentation under the Theme ‘Sustainability and Circular Economy’ during the Young Scientist Conference at India International Science Festival 2023, organized by Government of India’s Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Department of Space, Department of Atomic Energy, and Government of Haryana in association with Vijnana Bharati at DBT THSTI-RCB campus, Faridabad, Haryana from 17th to 20th January 2024.
The title of his talk was: Improving the mechanical properties of Polylactic acid biopolymer using short coir fibre reinforcements for promoting a circular economy.
