It is encouraging to know that some of the renowned persons had epilepsy. An occasional seizure should not hamper one person from enjoying his life or becoming successful in life. Many of the epileptic patients find it difficult to get a job or maintain it. In fact there is no problem for epilepsy patients to take up most of the jobs. There are many epilepsy patients who are successfully attending to jobs requiring night duties, strenuous physical labor and administrative responsibilities. Success with a job provides extra mental and emotional support to the patients so that his self esteem also improves. However certain jobs like driving and flying are not suitable. People with epilepsy are as warm friendly and affectionate as anybody else. They can develop good interpersonal relationships with friends and family members provided others also reciprocate it.
